The Moranbah Miners' Memorial Race Day held on 9th November 2024 is one of the biggest events in Moranbah. It follows the Moranbah Miners' Memorial Ceremony held on Friday evening.This race day is an important part of Moranbah Miners' Memorial weekend. On Friday 8th November we stand at our memorial in unity, sorrow and with pride. At the Moranbah Miners' Memorial Race Day we hold the past close to our hearts and come together in the spirit of mateship, hope and community.
Gates will be open from 11am, there will be 5 local races, including a heat of the Country Stampede Challenge, bookies, Fashion on the Fields, Bar and Canteen Facilities and live DJ from 3pm.
Courtesy Bus will be provided throughout the day and bus route details will be on Moranbah Race Clubs Facebook page.
Entry $25.00 per adult, Under 18's Free.
