MATTUTINO: Daniel McKay
Guitarist Daniel McKay joins us for our July Mattutino.
In this special solo program he presents repertoire from South America and from his latest solo CD 'Suffering and Madness', featuring premiere recordings by some of Australia's most loved and emerging composers alike.
Daniel studied extensively with Australia’s most highly respected guitar pedagogue Timothy Kain, and undertook masterclasses with some of the world's leading guitarists including John Williams, Pavel Steidl and Carlos Bonell. Active as a soloist and chamber musician, Daniel has toured throughout Australia, NZ, Vietnam and Europe, and has recorded for ABC Classics, Tall Poppies and Move Records.
Mattutino is our monthly Sunday morning concert series. One hour of music at 11am.
