City of Melbourne and Val's LGBTI Ageing and Aged Care are teaming up to host Val's Rainbow Spectacular: Victorian Seniors Festival 2024
Join us at this 2024 Victorian Seniors Festival event for a delightful afternoon of socialising and entertainment, as we celebrate the role older members of the LGBTIQA+ community have played in shaping our diverse and inclusive city. We gather in tribute to the ongoing legacy of Val Eastwood, a beloved figure in Melbourne's LGBTIQA+ history.
Registration for the event is free, however spaces are limited so book in quick!
BONUS EVENT:
You are also invited to join Val's LGBTI Ageing and Aged Care team at 1pm for a rainbow stroll to 123 Swanston Street to visit the plaque installed at the former site of Val's Coffee Lounge, acknowledging the legacy of Val Eastwood.
