Alpenrose Piano Trio at the Austrian Residence Canberra (SOLD OUT)
The Friends of the School of Music ANU in cooperation with the Embassy of Austria, are pleased to announce a special concert featuring the talented Alpenrose Piano Trio from Salzburg. The trio which includes well known Canberra pianist Bernice Chua, Brisbane violinist Fiona Qiu, and Polish cellist Jan Lomozik, are all Music Masters students at the Mozarteum in Salzburg.
These outstanding musicians are individually recipients of many prizes and awards both in Australia and Europe, and as a trio have performed at numerous festivals and masterclasses. They are embarking on their first Australian tour with performances in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, as well as this special concert at the Residence of Austria performing works by Josef Haydn, Johannes Brahms and contemporary Austrian composer Bartolomey Bittman.
