Join us for City of Newcastle's Inclusive Sports Forum as part of the 2024 Count Us In Sport program. Aimed at sports clubs, associations, recreation providers, coaches, club members and those interested in creating more disability inclusion sport and recreation opportunities across Newcastle.With former Newcastle Knight and representative player Alex McKinnon as our guest speaker alongside Summer and Winter Paralympian Rae Anderson, you'll hear about their sporting experiences and how we can all make a difference so people with disabilities feel welcome and valued at our clubs and can take their place as competitors, coaches, administrators, or volunteers and follow their sporting dreams.
Anderson will also talk about her role with Disability Sports Australia and how their Accessibility Champions online course can help your club towards improved inclusion.
