NCO Community Play Day 2024
About
Players of orchestral instruments are invited to join the National Capital Orchestra to share the experience of playing in a full symphony orchestra. We will be working on "Pictures at an Exhibition" by Modest Mussorgsky and "Worlds Within Worlds" by Sally Greenaway. Rehearsals will be held in the morning and early afternoon before the ensemble will present the works in concert at 3:30 pm. Audience members are welcome at any time during the event. The cut-off time for registration of players is 5 pm on Friday 26 July 2024. Players should be aged 15 or over. Suggested minimum standard is AMEB grade 5 or equivalent. Please bring your own music stand and downloaded music, as well as your lunch. We will have a reception at the end of the day.
