This feedback session may only be booked by people attending at least one day of StoryArts Brisbane. This can be either the Saturday or Sunday program.
Please book no more than two editor/agent sessions initially to allow everyone to have a turn.

Cathy Vallance publishes the children’s and young adult lists at University of Queensland Press (UQP)
Cathy has over fifteen years’ experience in the publishing industry. She has worked at the University of Queensland Press since 2012 and was appointed to the role of Children’s Publisher in 2023. Cathy has worked with many wonderful authors, including Peter Carnavas, Nova Weetman, Ellen van Neerven and Zana Fraillon.
Cathy is looking for interesting and unique stories from diverse voices. She loves books that are heartfelt, funny and a little bit different. She’s looking to acquire picture books, junior fiction, middle-grade and funny YA. She is partial to verse novels.
Cathy will be appearing on the publishers and first pages panels on Saturday and providing feedback on manuscripts on both the Saturday and Sunday.
