In this exciting project, Ballarat ensemble present sections Handel’s masterpiece in three concerts, with each section of Messiah performed with complementary works and directed by guest conductors. Performed with orchestra and guest chorus.

Messiah Part III has been called “a Hymn of Thanksgiving for the final overthrow of Death” and celebrates Christ the Redeemer. Messiah III is performed with a verse anthem by Handel “As pants the Hart” and two motets by the 16th century English composer Peter Philips.
