On behalf of the Organising Committee, we invite you to the 4th Australian Functional Genomics Symposium, held over two sessions on 28th and 29th of November.

This event will unite the clinical community involved in disease gene discovery with Australian research groups using diverse disease model systems to characterise genetic variants.

Invited speakers will showcase the growing need for clinical interpretation of genetic variants and how Australian functional genomics researchers can contribute. By combining the diverse knowledge of many aspects of genomic and functional interpretation, we aim to foster critical discussion and innovative approaches to understanding human genomic variation, crucial for translating genomic findings into patient diagnoses.

Standard delegate: $395 ($316 with early bird discount*)

Early career researcher: $330 ($264 with early bird discount*)

Student: $270 ($216 with early bird discount*)

*Discount automatically applied if purchased by 25^th October.

Please complete the registration form and select MCRI tickets. Payment will be managed through internal transfer, not via the trybooking website.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations must be advised in writing to functional.genomics@mcri.edu.au by 14 November 2024. Refunds (minus a $15 cancellation fee) will be issued for cancellations made by this date. Refunds after 14 November 2024, will only be issued in exceptional circumstances (minus the cancellation fee). Substitute delegates will be accepted. All refunds are processed after the Symposium concludes.
