Try one of our nerdy school holidays sessions.
Our evening sessions involve a tour of the historic observatory, a short Astrotour movie about the solar system and life and death of the Sun and finished with wonderful star gazing with our modern telescopes. If the weather is cloudy, a virtual night sky tour will run instead of telescope viewing. We recommend bringing a water bottle, insect repellent and a blanket.
Our Sunny Fun! sessions are all about our closest star, The Sun. You'll about the layers, life cycle and the location of the sun with talks and interactive activities and weather permitting, observe the sun safely for yourself.
Includes World Space Week 4-10 October
