Please join us as part of the Whitehorse Seniors Festival 2024 at this information session on health and exercise. Prof. Peteris Darzins, Dementia Researcher & Peter Mellow, Sport Scientist, share health & ageing advice. Light refreshments will be provided.Presenters are:
• Professor Peteris Darzins is a world leader in the research into Dementia and is the Clinical Service Director Complex and Continuing Care, and Clinical Director Geriatric Medicine, at Eastern Health.
• Peter Mellow, Sport and Fitness scientist; ex senior lecturer, AUT University. Director of Learning and Teaching at Eastern Health.
One-hour lecture on health ageing. Led by senior staff from Eastern Health, sharing practical things we all can do to remain healthy as we age.
