Come and join us in empowering voices and sharing stories that matter at Empower Real Storytellers Festival 2024!APM Communities has partnered with Filmmaker Marty Stevens as Co-Founders of Empower Real: Storytellers Festival, a mixed media event to celebrate International Day of People with Disability based on the universal themes of Access & Inclusion.
Marty is passionate about filmmaking and giving a voice to People with Disability. Marty advocated for this event to create more opportunities for PWD to participate in filmmaking and photo stories across Western Australia, including regional and remote communities, to share their storytelling to "Empower Real".
We look forward to welcoming you for a special night showcasing short films, photo stories and live performances!
Our event will be Auslan Interpreted. All shortlisted entries will be captioned and audio described. Accessible seating and hearing loops available on request.
