Want to get behind the scenes with our carraiges and locomotives? SRHC staff will be on duty to answer your questions.
Come along and bring your whole family to our open weekend on the 9th and 10th of November!
Things to look forward to!
* Explore around our depot *
* See the Royal carriages that Queen Elizabeth used in her tour of Victoria! *
* View the inside of the famous Spirit Of Progress train including the unique Parlor car. *
Enjoy tours of the workshop and current projects that are happening. Staff will be on hand to answer your questions. *
* You will also have the chance to get up close and personal with locomotives, T357, X31, J515 and C501. *
* Take a cab ride in one of our diesel locos - tickets for purchase on the day.
Members - $10/ride
Non members - $50/adult and $80/family each ride.
Please note that the cab ride ticket price for non members includes 1 year membership with Seymour Railway Heritage Centre
Young children must be accompanied by an adult.
Bring your friends and family up to Seymour for a grand day out.
Entry tickets are available for pre booking so you can walk right into the depot, book on-line. Or you can pay at the Gate.
A small Kiosk will be operating on the day serving light refreshments, soft drinks and coffee.
A sausage sizzle (and veggie patties for vegetarians) will be operating over lunch.
Entry Prices
Adult: $10
Child - 5-15: $5
Family (2A & 2C): $20
Please note that children must be accompanied by an adult
