Usually, Greek gods have a refined diet of ambrosia and nectar. Occasionally, they eat other gods. It might be their children, it might be a powerful ancestor or it might be a partner.In this talk, we'll explore four Greek myths featuring gods eating gods and try to make sense of them. Why do they do it? What does it achieve? Why did the Greeks come up with myths like that? And how did the Greeks feel about their gods behaving that way?
