Introducing our children to the "Music of our Ancestors".* Free Entry
Multi-instrumentalist Michael Platyrrahos will be presenting to our younger generation, traditional instruments of our musical heritage including:
lyra, oud, lavta, lute and many more, for children to experience close up and listen to the sounds of the instruments.
Michael and his children will demonstrate how to play each instrument.
Give aways & Zeibekiko beat music games with traditional wooden spoons from Asia Minor is also on the activity list !.
Music instruments from the Hellene World should be presented to our new generation. Hopefully this will help preserve traditional music, pass down sounds of our ancestors and keep history through traditional songs alive.
Bringing our children closer to the songs and music of the once upon a time Hellenistic world from both sides of the Aegean...
