These birdwatch and walk events are designed for anyone interested in birds especially children and their families. The Cottesloe coastal dunes are home to an amazing diversity of birdlife so there is much to see.The birdwatch and walk invites participants to meet inthe Cottesloe Nature discovery playground where we will begin by listening to birdcalls and spotting birds in the foliage. We will walk to the Vlaming memorial to view birds in the dune vegetation and on the shore. At this time the first migratory birds will be appearing.
Participants are invited to bring their own binoculars, and some will also be some provided.
