Willunga Ukuleles presents a workshop for people who enjoy playing instrumental ukulele with others. The Wild Women of Anywhere Beach will teach us Moliendo Cafe, a Venezuelan classic by Hugo Blanco (or his father!) 1958.The arrangement has 4 parts including vocals and bass.
Uke 1 has the main melody.
Uke 2 plays the main melody and then the higher harmony.
Uke 3 is the strumming part using well known chords with some fancy finger moves to add pizzazz!
Up tempo with Latin rhythms! Who could ask for more?
This workshop also includes a performance opportunity (1 piece) for each ensemble to share what you have been playing in your group.
