2025: Book a spot CCFC
All players wishing to play at CCFC in 2025 must book a spot due to the high demand for player positions.
This initial booking fee will be deducted from the 2025 season fees. (The fee is non-refundable unless a team is not available for your child and in this case, the deposit and/or fee will be fully refunded)
Note player assesments will be held in December.
- Junior Boys Kangaroo and A teams MUST train two nights (*note under 18 Study and Play model allows 1 night in under 18)
- Under 8/9 Kangaroo can train one night.
- Players in Wallabies and Joeys and B/C teams must train with their team one night, but have the option for extra training two or three sessions per week.
- All Girls teams train one night with the option for a second or third night.
*Study & Play
The Club will be reinstating the 'Study & Play' model for U18s in 2025.
What is the Study & Play model:
We understand and appreciate that as players enter Year 11 and 12, their focus on study should be a major priority.
Therefore, we would like to offer the opportunity to boys in the U18 team to train just one night per week if they choose.
Second night training with U21s or Reserves will still be available to players looking for a greater commitment.
This model is intended to ensure players finishing their schooling are still able to play in a competitive team, without the burden of multiple nights training.
The clubhouse will also be open and available prior to training for boys to study in a quiet environment, to minimise wasted time travelling from school, to home, to training.
Senior Pathway
The Club would also like to reiterate our overall transition pathway for junior players.
At U18 age, we will begin to transition boys through the Reserve/Senior program as they are ready (and their commitment dictates).
Our overall ambition is to progress as many of our junior players through to the Senior program as possible.
