The Greek Student Short Film Festival returns for the 12th year, presenting a selection of imaginative films from primary and secondary students studying and/or speaking the Greek language.The Greek Student Short Film Festival continues to offer students the opportunity to use the Greek language in creative and innovative ways, whilst simultaneously encouraging the preservation of the Greek culture.
The selected for screening films are short fiction, animation or documentaries and incorporate the chosen theme. For 2024 the theme is “Young Hearts & Wise Tales” and is open to the interpretation and creativity of the students and teachers involved.
Each short Film must also include the signature item, which this year is a “Window”. The films will be screened at the 29th Greek Film Festival Sydney where prizes will be awarded in the Primary and Secondary Categories.
