About
Mental health challenges in older adults can be linked to health and wellbeing factors. Taking care of our health and wellbeing is important and our needs change as we age. This spring, join our program of free information sessions about women’s health and wellbeing in Mandarin.The evening will begin with chair pilates (in Mandarin) where you can join in simple pilates movements on a chair, suitable for all ages and abilities. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes and bring a water bottle.
Then enjoy an information session from bi-lingual Health Educator, Yi Luo, from the Multicultural Centre for Women’s Health.
In Mandarin, Yi will cover
• what is mental health
• why is it important to talk about it and
• resources and support services available in the community.
6.30pm to 7.00pm - chair pilates
7.00pm to 7.15pm - tea and coffee
7.15pm to 8.15pm - information session
This session is delivered in partnership with The Y and the Multicultural Centre for Women’s Health.
