Dogs in the Park is coming to Port Melbourne, in partnership between City of Port Phillip and The Lost Dogs' Home!
Join a FREE group training session with your dog in Turner Reserve. The interactive one-hour session is run by experienced trainers from The Lost Dogs’ Home, who specialise in dog behaviour. They’ll share lots of information and advice on:
- Understanding your dog’s body language and behaviour
- Positive reinforcement training
- Teaching foundation skills, including recall and walking nicely on lead
- Play and enrichment ideas at home
This is a FREE community event, but bookings are ESSENTIAL. Please select ONE attendee/ticket per dog (not per person). Session sizes are limited to ensure a comfortable training environment.
Thanks to the generous support from local businesses, registered attendees who are present on the day will receive a goodie bag*.
With several dogs and people expected to attend, please consider if this is the right environment for your dog. If you think it may be too stressful for them, you’re very welcome to attend yourself and leave your dog at home where they feel comfortable.
*Goodie bags are available exclusively to pre-registered attendees who are present on the day. Walk-ins and no-shows will not be eligible.

There are two training sessions available on the day:
- First session 9:00am to 10:00am
- Second Session 11:00am to 12:00pm
The content of each sesssion is the same, so please choose only one to attend.
