Amahl and the Night Visitors is a delightful short opera written by Gian Carlo Menotti and is sung in English.The cast includes 3 Kings, a Page, a mother and her lame son Amahl and a parrot.
The Opera tells the story of the 3 Kings travelling to Bethlehem. They stop for a rest along the way at the cottage of the mother and her son - when everyone is asleep trouble ensues.
