SYNOPSIS:
Based on the 1991 Warner Brothers film, the hauntingly beautiful musical Dogfight takes audiences on a romantic and heartbreaking theatrical journey against the background of the Vietnam war. It's November 21, 1963. On the eve of their deployment to a small but growing conflict in Southeast Asia, three young Marines set out for one final boys' night of debauchery, partying and maybe a little trouble. But, when Corporal Eddie Birdlace meets Rose, an awkward and idealistic waitress whom he enlists to win a cruel bet with his fellow recruits, she rewrites the rules of the game and teaches him the power of love and compassion.

ARRIVAL TIMES:
There will be some pre-show entertainment in the foyer prior to each performance so we encourage you to arrive 30 minutes prior to the show start time to enjoy this. The venue, bar and kiosk will be open from 6.30pm on evening performances and 1.00pm on matinees.

Dogfight is a musical that contains mature themes and content which may not be suitable for all audiences and is recommended for people aged 16 years and over. Content to be aware of includes strong language including profanity, themes of violence (including death) and emotional intensity. Sexual content is limited to sexual references and implicit intimacy but there is no explicit sexual activity. This production includes flashing lights, simulated explosions and depictions of war.
