Writing is in Gina Chick's genes. Her mother Suzanne was given up for adoption and, at the age of 48, discovered her mother was Charmian Clift Australia's first female columnist in the early 60's. Suzanne told the story in her own book, Searching For Charmian.Adventurer and writer, Gina was one of ten participants of the SBS series, Alone Australia. After 67 days in the Tasmanian wilderness in Winter, Gina was the last person standing and won. Her determination, passion, and love of the natural world endeared her to more than 5.5 million people around Australia. We Are the Stars is Gina’s powerful memoir.
