Concert for centenary year of The Reverend David Hodges AM
About
Music loved by David Hodges, or which evokes places significant in his lifee.g. Scotland, Norway and New York, will be performed by members of the
TUC Choir and students of David Ross-Smith.
Guest artists will include talented opera singers Kate Amos, soprano and
Samuel Thomas-Holland, tenor. The program will include arias by Handel, Donizetti, Bizet (the duet from The Pearlfishers), music by Elgar and Grieg, folk songs from Scotland, and music theatre songs by Irving Berlin and George Gershwin.
