From the basics to the advanced: everything the consulting structural engineer needs to know about the design of reinforced concrete structures for earthquake actions.The course consists of four 2-hr webinars, each with an extra 15-min Q&A session, held over lunchtime on four consectuive Wednesdays. Each session will provide the relevant background theory alongside real world worked examples and practical solutions to ensure participants can implement the skills learnt. This course will address the hard topics and leave no questions unanswered.
The lateral load resisting system design procedures taught will be transferable to other loading scenarios (e.g., wind actions).
