The Debating Skills club provides a dynamic platform for students to enhance their critical thinking, communication, and public speaking abilities. By engaging in debate drills and routines, students learn to construct and defend arguments, appreciate diverse viewpoints, and build confidence in delivering their ideas. Additionally, they will explore research methods and evidence collection to bolster their arguments. Each student will receive a notebook, writing supplies, and a folder for organising scaffolds and handouts for the term. These materials will be kept in the classroom unless students prefer to take them home and bring them back each week.
