About
Learn to create and print your own unique linocut images with artist and Brigalow Arts Festival judge, Geoffrey Head. In this workshop you will be guided through the printmaking processes from start to finish, preparing you for your own future projects.Geoffrey Head will teach his signature approach to linocut buildings and landscapes using stylised imagery, visual texture and line. Work from your own photograph for a truly personal final product.
Provided:
- Light morning tea
- Printing materials and tools
- Printing reference photos
What to Bring:
- Apron or old shirt
- Ruler
- (Optional) Lino carving tools if you prefer to use your own
- (Optional) Printing reference photo: Contrasting black and white image of a building or landscape approx. A5 or 15x20cm on paper. Close-up images provide good lines and patterns.
