About
The Tenants' Union of NSW with Hunter Tenants' Advice Service are hosting a meeting for renters, in partnership with the NSW Rental Commissioner, Trina Jones.This is an opportunity to share experiences as RENTERS, in particular around access to rental homes, cost of living, affordability, energy and climate. The meeting is for RENTERS only, to share perspectives and ideas for solutions.
About our organisations:
TU is the main resourcing body for the NSW network of Tenants Advice and Advocacy Services (TAASs), and a community legal centre specialising in NSW residential tenancies law. They provide legal services to renters facing economic and social disadvantage, and information and advice to all tenants on their legal rights and obligations. The Hunter Tenants' Advice and Advocacy Service (HTAAS) is a free service providing information and advice to all Hunter renters.
