In Focus: Cyber Security - Albany
About
Recent cyber incidents globally and at home have had local government’s reevaluating their cyber security plans. They’ve asked, ‘Are we prepared?’, ‘what would we do if there was a cyber-attack?’ and importantly for local government, ‘what does our community expect of us?’ Unless you’re a cyber expert, it can feel overwhelming.
LGIS has worked closely with our members to develop two practical workshops to support local governments in improving their cyber security position.
Who should attend?
These workshops are for anyone who needs to understand the language and strategies of cyber security. Depending on the size of the organisation, this could include CEOs, directors, procurement, risk and governance, and IT professionals. Elected members may also benefit from the cyber incident workshop to understand their role and responsibilities.
