In conjunction with some of the local residents whose properties adjoin the earliest development stages of the estate, the Mornington Peninsula Branch of the National Trust invites the public to take the opportunity of exploring this heritage areaOn registration a detailed information brochure relating to the estate will be available.
Timed tours on the half hour will provide:
• A private allotment tour with talk highlighting features of the estate.
• Chat session by a descendant of the first house built on the estate in 1925 giving insights into the origins of development
• Private garden viewing of a renowned area garden
• Self guided viewing opportunity of restoration work-in-progress of a 1960s Age Small Home Service residence of which Robin Boyd was the original director.
