Be enchanted by the melodies of Milind Tulankar, master of the rare Jal Tarang, as he brings this ancient Indian instrument to life across Australia.Creating ethereal music from water-filled porcelain bowls, Tulankar revitalises this near-extinct art form passed down through generations.
With performances spanning 21 countries on screen and stage including a G20 Summit, he is the man behind the background scores for the BBC production film 'West is West' and the music director for the PALI film "PUNARUTTHAN". He is joined by percussion virtuoso Shri Ganesh Vishwanath Tanawade on Tabla and special guest, classical kathak dancer Harshala Vaidya.
