African Drumming Class (Beginner) - October 2024
7 week block of classes for new players and folks with some basic experience and familiarity with the djembe drum. Over the course of the term you'll learn how to sit comfortably with your drum, how to play the basic sounds and how to start speaking the language of djembe music. We cover one rhythm per term which will normally include learning two djembe parts and a musical break. Most importantly it's a fun and relaxed class with a focus on simply enjoying the musical vibe..
