Explore the industrial history of St. George while creating unique collages in this hands-on workshop with the Sydney Collage Society.Get creative and dive into the rich industrial history of the St. George region in this community-focused collage workshop inspired by the current main gallery exhibition: Makers & Manufacturers. Using historical materials from Hurstville Museum & Gallery’s collection and vintage materials sourced by the Sydney Collage Society, we will explore how industries like shipbuilding, farming, and manufacturing shaped the area’s development.
Whether you are a beginner or have experience, this workshop offers a welcoming space to connect, learn, and create. At the end, we will host a gallery-style showcase to celebrate everyone’s creations. All materials are provided, and no prior experience is required.
