Design your own Wildlife Garden
About
Come and join us for an empowering, hands-on experience where participants will discover the importance of biodiversity and how humans positively and negatively impact ecosystems.Learners will understand the most significant contributors to biodiversity loss and how they can take action to reverse the degradation of local ecosystems.
Participants will return home inspired with knowledge on specific indigenous plants and basic skills to design a wildlife friendly garden and take home their own wildlife friendly seedball to increase biodiversity in their community.
There are two sessions throughout the day with a maximum of 30 participants. Please ensure you book in for 1 session only as the content for both is the same.
Opportunities will also be provided to learn about Bundoora Secondary Colleges Southern Pygmy Perch program and other environmental initiatives at our host school.
Please ensure you wear weather appropriate clothing and bring your own drinking water.
