Textile Drop-off event
About
Cardinia Shire Council is hosting a FREE drop-off event for residents to dispose of ‘end of life’ textiles including clothing, bed linen, tablecloths and more.Please note:
*This event is for Cardinia Shire residents only.
*Textiles will only be accepted from residential vehicles and trailers (commercial volumes not accepted).
*Register one ticket per vehicle (not per person).
EVENT DETAILS:
Date: Sunday 24 October
Time: 9am-1pm
Location: IYU Recreation Reserve carpark (165 Henry Road, Pakenham).
ACCEPTED ITEMS:
- Clothing (shirts, pants, dresses etc.)
- Fabric bras and crop-tops (no underwire)
- Bed linen, sheets and towels
- Tablecloths and fabric curtains
- Scrap fabrics or offcuts
ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED:
- No dirty / soiled items
- No wet items – everything must be clean and dry
- No underwear
- No bras containing an underwire
