October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and I am hosting a morning tea to raise vital funds to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation in their efforts to find a cure for this disease that is still taking so many lives.I have recently been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer myself and am currently undergoing treatment which is quite aggressive. I would love to see funds go into research that would assist in better detection and therefore more targeted treatment of this disease.
So, put on your brightest outfit and join us for a special morning. We will welcome you with freshly made coffee, breakfast and a special live performance. There will be the chance to win some amazing prizes donated by some of the fabulous businesses in the inner west and of course, there will be lots of opportunity to meet new people.
