The creators of the captivating Western Shore’s Dark Corners, presented during Mandurah’s Art Festival 2024, invite you to experience its companion piece, “Mandurah’s Dark Corners,” this Halloween night. Embark on a journey through the city's origins, as this spooky historic walking tour along Mandurah’s Eastern foreshore unveils the first chapter in the transformation of a humble seaside village into a thriving city.As the dusk fades, the Captain and the immortal Jellyfish, will lead you on a journey through history, enchanting you with tales of former residents. From their lanterns, shimmering figures emerge, painting pictures on the walls with light, before dissolving into the night…. The 45-minutes tour is an outdoor performance where digital footage will be projected onto several key locations and landmarks while you are listening to captivating stories from Mandurah’s past. Expect an immersive experience which involves wearing headphones along the entire 800m route.
