About the event

Spoonful are a longstanding gang of four, who make rock n roll, blues and soulful RnB sounds. All well-versed and experienced musicians in their own right, the groups combined years of musical know-how has seen them create 4 albums, and larger-than-life live shows. Led by the charismatic Andre Warhurst on guitar and vocals, the group includes David “Triple Threat” Lord on vocals, keys and harmonica, Paul Winstanley on bass, and Andre’s brother Kit on drums.

Formed originally as a party band in early 90's Melbourne, Spoonful happily ticked along while members concentrated their individual efforts on haircuts and record deals in other bands. With Spoonful serving as something of a "home base" amid their various individual musical travels, it was probably that lack of a focused spotlight that has led to the bands remarkable longevity. But the buzz was undeniable, and always there. Spoonful are explosive, they are tender. They are rock n roll, they are slow waltz. A must see!
