The mighty Barleyshakes bring their Celtic Outlaw folk music to Adelaide for the very first time. And what better venue than the grand Wheatsheaf Hotel in the heart of Adelaide. Kristin and Alan Kelly are two founding members of the well known Irish powerhouse band the Barleyshakes. Together they play beautiful traditional and original songs, and instrumentals on sweet sensuous fiddle, and breathtaking high energy guitar, also using the Irish bodhran drum to enhance their infectious Celtic sound. They are winners of the Queensland Music Award for World music and Alan has recorded as a soloist on the Lord of the Rings soundtrack.
