The Polyphagous Shot-Hole Borer (PSHB) is an invasive beetle posing a significant threat to Western Australia's trees and ecosystems.In collaboration with the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, the City of Kalamunda is hosting a free community information session to understand more about this invasive pest and the steps they can take to identify and report suspected infestations.
This one-hour session includes a 45-minute presentation covering the pest’s biology, life cycle, the types of trees at risk, signs of infestation, and how to report suspicious activity. A Q&A session will follow.
