We are honored to have Zaki Haidari as our Keynote Speaker this year. Zaki as our keynote speaker this year Zaki is a 2020 Australian Human Rights Commission Human Rights Hero and a Strategic Campaigner at Amnesty International Australia. In 2015, Zaki was awarded the NSW Government’s International Student of the Year Award. Zaki arrived in Australia in 2012 as a refugee from Afghanistan, after fleeing the Taliban as a minor. He is a highly respected media commentator and human rights advocate, courageously sharing his story to shine a light on the harsh realities faced by refugees, especially those subjected to Australia's temporary protection policies.
