Domestic and family violence remain disturbingly prevalent in our society with devasting consequences mainly for women and children, often resulting in homelessness and death. Some of the member churches of NSWEC and their social welfare agencies are working hard to raise awareness, to put in place supports and have developed excellent resources.

Church leaders together have a role in creating a future free from violence for all families. Parish clergy and pastoral staff, along with chaplains, are at often at the front line of identifying and responding to domestic and family violence in their ministry contexts.

 This webinar is a refresher to assist Church personnel on how best to respond when confronted with these situations.
