Force Majeure’s Artistic Director Danielle Micich shares tried and tested approaches for navigating consent, boundaries and intimacy in theatre-making. Learn how to participate in or lead safe, productive and artistically satisfying processes in creative spaces that use the body as a tool for communication. Through an embodied practice, deepen your understanding of the complexity of consent, and develop nuanced language and methodologies for boundary-building in the process of making new work.This workshop is for performers, actors, dancers, writers, directors, choreographers, stage managers, musicians, producers, designers, makers, artists, crew – anyone with a creative practice related to performance who wants to learn about consensual processes.
All participants will be involved in a practical component that involves contact tasks. Please contact us if you have any questions.
