Blackbirds FC return to George Lane to launch their new single What’s The Half Life Of Loving You? in their final Melbourne show for 2024.
Featuring members of The Hollowmen, Helvelln, The Vanda’s, and The Golden Rail, Blackbirds cut straight to heart with their warm, resonant sound that blends indie rock and alt-country with a distinctly Australian feel.
The new song is the third single from the band’s long awaited new album (due for release in early 2025) and follows up Lake Of Stars and Rings Around The Sun which received airplay on the International Americana Music Show, PBS, Triple R, 4ZZZ, 2SER as well as coveted spots on Rhythms Magazine’s Spring Sampler and Post To Wire’s Americana Spotify playlist.
Supporting on the night is Megan Maike and her band.
