This is an in-person event.The ECU School of Arts and Humanities Social Ageing (SAGE) Futures Lab and TRACS Research Migration Network (MRN) are honoured to invite you to a special public lecture delivered by Visiting Scholar Professor Himla Soodyall, Executive Officer of the Academy of Science of South Africa (ASSAf).
In this lecture Professor Soodyall will share insights from her extensive experience as both a geneticist and a leader within the Academy. She makes a compelling case for scientists to take a more active role in addressing societal issues.
