City Wine Shop presents an end-of-year celebration for the ages - we can’t believe how fast the year has flown by! What better way to commemorate this occasion than with the mother of all wine - Champagne. We’ve got a lot to cover with Champagne’s unique terroir, history, grape varieties, winemaking techniques as well as styles, historical figures…and let’s not forget the myths and marketing that is Champagne!
We’ll be showcasing the women who reinvented the whole operation, the Russians who obsessed over Champagne and the lies you’ve been told behind one of the world’s most famous wine regions!
Close out the year and join us for seven different Champagnes and sparkling wines, along with small food plates, a barrel of laughs and a few surprises along the way.
