Cycling skills @ The Lea - Stage 1-2
About
Following on from the popularity of our vertical skills series, The Lea is offering a 6 week series focused on building skills in a cycling environment. This may include safety, road rules, care and maintenance of gear, environmental impact and cycling skills.Stage 1-2 builds skills from an assumed level of zero knowledge and will cover both practical skills and theory. This stage suits homeschooled youth from 8 years up. It is best if students can ride independently without training wheels. You must provide your own bicycle and helmet.
All youth must be accompanied by a responsible adult. The venue will primarily be The Lea but may feature offsite excursions.
This series will be run over 6 weeks during term 4: 28/10, 4/11, 11/11, 18/11, 2/12, 9/12
