Homegrown Heroes is Sydney Wind Symphony’s final concert for the year, showing off the best concert band music and musicians Australia has to offer. Featuring diverse styles including classical, jazz, art music, and occasionally disco (yes, disco!), fresh and exciting experiences are in store, including Trombonist Josh De Haan showing off the Grondahl trombone concerto, and a NSW premiere of Catherine Likhuta's Bury and Rise! The concert will also feature the upcoming talent of Queenwood School for Girls' music ensembles!
Prepare to have your socks blown off and make your way to the Astra Theatre, Queenwood School for Girls, on the 17th of November, 2:00pm.
