Take a Kid Fishing Day is a joint initiative of Lion’s Den Australia and Recreational Fishing Trust. The purpose is to promote responsible fishing while enjoying quality time with a child. The registration fee covers you and one child to fish together in this event. Please come along and enjoy a day filled with fishing, fun and food as well as a few prizes and surprises!Be sure to bring a hat, sunscreen and jacket.No fishing licence is required in NSW when accompanying a person under the age of 18. Men attending are welcome to bring a rod if they wish to fish. Taking public transport is strongly recommended because parking is very limited. If you choose to drive in, allow time to find a parking spot. If you wish to take public transport, take a ferry from Circular Quay to McMahon’s Point Wharf followed by short walk to Blues Point Reserve.
Places are limited so register as soon as possible.
